Shadow showed up at a house and the finder could not keep him. He came to us July 10th. He was super sweet and very tame and was obviously let out or dumped by his former owner because this boy knew people and what it was like to be inside a house. He is very sweet, loves to play and doesn’t mind dogs, but he was skinny, loaded with worms and had no vetting that we could see. He went through a rough patch and stopped eating and we realized he was fighting an internal infection. He was immediately put on the proper antibiotics and is almost finished with them. His appetite has returned, he is feeling much better and is back to being his normal playful self. Once the antibiotics are finished, we will continue his vetting. Thus far he has had 1 FVRCP and been dewormed twice. He should be ready to get neutered in 2 weeks and get his second FVRCP, Rabies and combo test. The photos do not show it, but Shadow is a beautiful shade of grey with cream colored markings, not white. He looks like a grey creamsicle!
Shadows vetting is complete and he is ready to go to his forever home!
